Web Design
I began my web development experience by teaching myself Macromedia (now Adobe) Dreamweaver. The first website I created for my department at Penn State was a tables-based site. After our department switched to the content management system, Drupal, in 2009, the learning curve accelerated quickly and steeply. Within a very short period of time I learned enough about HTML, CSS, and PHP not only to make a website, but also how these programming and design languages communicated with each other.

My head still hurts. My department website can be viewed here.
