Sometimes I get bored with trying to make things perfect. It gets tedious rendering a drawing that's so tight, or taking a photograph that has the perfect exposure, white-balance, and focus. Recently while driving up the highway to a friend's house, I put my Nikon D200 on a sticky pad on the dashboard of my truck, and just hit the button! What I got was very exciting for me because it was a visit to a more creative place. As a professional creative, I find these departures necessary to the practice of remaining excited about creativity and meshing that excitement into my design, photography, and video.
