Part of my role in the Center for the Performing Arts at Penn State is to serve as the house photographer.

 

Non-Broadway performances are captured for marketing and communications, social media, and documentation for our archive of event images.

Just as impactful as the performances are the American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters that translate many of our performances. Their motions are akin to dance, and are wonderful to photograph.

 

I love the broad range of creative people I get to connect with; from music and theatre students to ASL interpreters to legendary Latin Jazz musician, Eddie Palmieri, these amazing and talented people make my job a lot of fun!
